With Trisk’s built-in OCR (Optical Character Recognition), you can upload a file and watch your form fill itself. The system extracts text directly from PDFs, Word files, spreadsheets, or images and auto-populates the relevant fields. You keep complete control but skip the typing and the usual copy-paste routine.

You’re onboarding a new client and receiving their paperwork. Instead of copying over details like name, birthdate, contact info, and address field by field, you upload the document. Trisk’s OCR scans it, detects the answers, and pre-fills the form for you—within seconds.

Important Notes

❗️ The OCR feature is available for Teams and Business Pricing Plans users.

How to Use OCR to Pre-Fill Forms

  1. Open your Form Task. On the top of the screen, you will see the section labeled: “Upload files here to pre-populate questions on this form.”
  2. Upload files from your PC or Garage. Supported formats are listed right in the interface.
  3. Click the Pre-populate button.
    Upload a file to auto-populate job application form fields using Trisk’s OCR feature. Professional service firms can streamline onboarding by extracting structured data from PDFs, spreadsheets, or images directly within the form.
  4.  If any form fields were already filled, choose how to proceed: Override All Fields or Extend Empty Fields (while keeping your inputs intact)Select how to apply OCR auto-fill in Trisk—override all fields or extend only empty ones. This flexibility helps professional services maintain data accuracy and minimize repetitive manual entry during client onboarding and other workflows.
  5. Trisk will auto-fill available fields. The highlighted sections show what was updated, so you can confirm or adjust them before submission.

Upload Limits

  • Up to 10 files per form
  • 5MB max per file

💬 AI-Generated Discussions

Discussions have always been a part of Trisk’s review process—used to block approvals and request changes. Now, Trish can generate them for you. If something looks off, Trish will add a Discussion automatically (e.g., “Date of birth seems invalid”). You can edit, delete, or resolve them just like manual ones.

📍 Prompt Editor with Built-In Suggestions

You control what Trish checks. Write your own prompt to guide the AI. Use the “Improve prompt” tool, and Trish will offer suggestions for improving clarity and results. It’s like having a writing assistant built into your logic.

Your remaining credits are clearly shown inside each Review Task, so you always know how much has been used and how many are left. Simple, transparent, and helpful.

How to Use Trish AI Review

  1. Open the Review Task
    When a client submits a form, a corresponding Review Task appears on your dashboard.
  2. Click the AI Review Tab
    You’ll find it in the right-hand foldover, next to other tabs like “Tasks” and “Details.”
  3. Add Your Prompt
    Write your prompt to guide Trish’s analysis. Need help? Click “Improve Prompt” for suggestions that refine your intent.Trish AI in Trisk enables automated review of submitted forms and attached documents with editable prompts and actionable insights.   4. Let Trish Analyze
    Trish reviews the form and any files, generates a smart summary, and creates Discussions if issues are detected.   5. Done Reviewing? Continue As Usual
